We created a logo for our upcoming reunion. Why 1770? Our original ancestor, James Carter, Sukie Hamilton’s maternal Grandfather, settled on Blue Hill Neck in either 1770 or 1771. He was one of the original settlers of Blue Hill, first on Blue Hill Neck, then on Long Island, ultimately coming back to Blue Hill Neck for his final days.
