Robert Nivison with Maggie and her sisters?
Letter of Recommendation
Recommendation16 March 1904
I am very pleased to be able to testify to the abilities of John A. Nivison.
I have known him since a lad. He has been in the employment of this Co for the past seven years working in various parts of the mill but principally at the machines. He is one of the best machine assistants I have come across. Energetic. Strictly sober hard working and most obliging under all circumstances and has the making of a first class mach??.
Had there been a vacancy at the moment I should have been glad to give it him. I can with every confidence recommend him as a first class workman.
He is a young man of great promise and leaves here of his own accord much to our regret in order to better himself and carries our best wishes for his future welfare.
I shall at all times gladly answer any further questions concerning him and heartily wish him every success.
